The Hero Rewards Program™, hosted at EarnedYourKeys.com, is an independent educational and support platform designed to: (1) help individuals better understand the financial aspects of homeownership, and (2) connect eligible community members with licensed professionals who may assist in their home-buying journey.

The Hero Rewards Program™ is not a real estate brokerage, mortgage lender, or government entity. It does not originate loans, extend credit, issue loan qualifications, or represent any real estate or lending company. Consumers are under no obligation to use any specific real estate agent or mortgage provider. All real estate and lending transactions are conducted exclusively through licensed professionals, who assume full responsibility for their conduct, compliance, and service delivery.

The Hero Rewards Program™ does not extend credit, issue loan qualifications, originate loans, or operate as a real estate brokerage. These credits are not financed into the mortgage, not tied to lender compensation, and are not contingent upon using any specific lender. Consumers are free to use any mortgage provider of their choice.

Closing Credit Structure & Eligibility

The Hero Rewards Program™ closing credit is funded solely through real estate compensation. It is not financed into the mortgage, and no part of it is derived from loan origination or lending compensation through any mortgage institution. All credits must be properly disclosed on the (CD) Closing Disclosure and applied through escrow, and cannot be received as cash back outside of closing.

To receive the closing credit:

To receive the closing credit, the buyer must be enrolled in the HERO Rewards Program™ and be referred to or assigned a participating, licensed real estate agent within the program’s approved referral network. The closing credit is offered exclusively through this network and is not dependent on the use of any specific mortgage lender. Buyers are free to choose any lender they prefer, and lender selection will not impact eligibility for the credit. All credits must be properly disclosed on the Closing Disclosure (CD), applied through escrow, and may not be issued as cash or post-closing payments.

Buyer Contribution Limits Disclosure:

Federal lending guidelines (FHA, VA, Conventional, and Investment loan programs) limit the maximum amount sellers, real estate agents, and lenders can contribute to a buyer's closing costs. Contributions are typically capped between 2%–9% of the purchase price, depending on loan type and occupancy.

Buyers should be aware that exceeding these limits may result in adjustments to the transaction terms, lender approval conditions, or reduced credits at closing.

Buyer Credit Schedule Disclosure

Credit amounts provided to buyers are based solely on the final purchase price of the home. Credits will be applied toward allowable closing costs and prepaids, and must comply with applicable loan program limits.

The following schedule outlines the maximum allowed credit amounts based on the home's purchase price:
